DANTOM has an in-house USPS Presort Facility in Wixom, Michigan. The facility is 65,000 square feet, utilizing 3 Pitney Bowes Olympus II MT mail sorters (864 pockets) to provide nationwide and international presort services for all our collection letter clients. The mail is sorted for national delivery (delivery point bar code) and has the USPS on-site for plant load pickup multiple times per day to facilitate our 24-hour turnaround commitment. We process files 24 X 7, with first-class USPS mail delivery Monday - Saturday.
An additional service is the application of the USPS PostalOne service, electronically linking mailing information with the USPS for mail acceptance and verification. To speed delivery to 18 western states, appropriate stickers are applied to letter packets destined for overnight flights. Approximately 25 percent of its current mail volume now goes by air.
