DANTOM's Six Sigma Quality Protocol

Recognizing the immeasurable value of the trust our clients place in us every day, DANTOM Systems utilizes Six Sigma as its quality methodology. Led by a Six Sigma black belt, DANTOM uses many tools throughout the company to mitigate risk and ensure the highest possible quality.

Failure Mode and Effects Analysis
Before any major deployment of new equipment, technology or other major initiative is implemented, a cross functional team completes a Failure Mode and Effects analysis. To complete the analysis, the team brainstorms all potential points of failure, including the likelihood and severity of each. The team develops solutions prior to deployment, preventing the failures from ever occurring.

SOP and Review Checklists
DANTOM has well documented standard operating procedures in every area of the company. Every critical task has a review checklist to ensures it is completed consistently and removes variation from the output. Ensuring critical tasks are consistently performed correctly allows your receivables communication to meet or exceed your expectations and standards.

Automated System Monitoring Tools
Given that DANTOM's proprietary document processing software often handles more than 1,000,000 a day and runs 24/7/365, it is closely monitored . Numerous monitoring tools are used by DANTOM  experts to ensure consistent production and quality. The system also has self-correcting tools, furthering enhancing production quality.

IT Test Environment
As any software expert can tell you, new releases often have unintended consequences. Therefore, new releases are first run in a test environment and not in live production. In the test environment, any potential issues can be identified and corrected before introducing the update into production.

Pareto analysis
A cross-functional team analyzes errors that have occurred to determine the highest priority items and direct resources accordingly.

Key Performance Indicators
Based upon industry and customer standards, DANTOM utilizes key performance metrics to measure its performance against established benchmarks. Senior management reviews the KPI regularily to make data-driven decision and allocate resources appropriately. Furthermore, continuous improvment goals are established annually in all functional areas for ongoing improvement.

Root Cause Analysis
A key component of DANTOM's quality protocol includes an established escalation process. It is implemented immediately if an error is discovered. Once the issue is resolved, DANTOM's Six Sigma Black Belt leads the effort to determine the root cause. A process or technology is deployed to ensure the error cannot recur in the future. New technology is always being evaluated and implemented to further eliminate potential errors. DANTOM is committed to continually seeking new ways to prevent errors from occuring.

Comprehensive Supplier Quality Assurance
DANTOM holds its suppliers to the same high standards to which is holds itself. Therefore, suppliers are required to use many of the same Six Sigma quality tools and controls. DANTOM conducts a materials acceptance sampling to ensure the quality of all paper and envelopes before they are accepted onto the production floor. It also conducts in process quality checks during production, issues frequent supplier scorecards and requires suppliers to conduct a root cause analysis for any error that occurs in addition to developing a plan to prevent error recurrence.

By implementing the Six Sigma quality methodology, DANTOM is able to consistently generate receiveables communications that meet your high standards and protect your business reputation.
